Nobody wants to live life on empty, but it happens all the time. It seems like the only way to keep up with all the demands of life is to run at maximum capacity-and then some. The consequences, of course, are endless: burnout, stress, bankruptcy, depression, spiritual apathy and more. The good news is that you don't have to live that way! In this series, we'll be looking at what it takes to refuel our lives.

If you've been attending Great Lakes Church for 2 months or more, join us to learn more about this church and figure out if this is your church home. This class will articulate the beliefs, style, strategy, and structure of Great Lakes Church, and give you a better understanding of the "why" behind the way we do things around here. We'll explore God's purposes for the church and how we live it as individuals and as a church family. This is also a great time to get your questions answered.

• New Growth Groups will launch Oct. 3rd
• All Growth Groups last 6 - 10 weeks
• Some groups options are:
  - Bible/Book Study

  - Community Service
• Requirements: 101 Class + Attended previous GLC Growth Group.

If you'd like to learn more about leading or hosting a Growth Group, join us for our workshop prepping and training leaders and hosts. Again, no prior experience necessary! This workshop will be your chance to meet other people who are also interested in leading or hosting, as well as learn how Great Lakes does Groups in a hands on environment.

FAQ

What is a Growth Group?
Growth Groups are groups of 5 - 15 people who meet weekly around a common interest, study, or activity. They are made up of people like you who want to grow spiritually and connect with others who are heading in the same direction.

When do Growth Groups start? How long do they last?
All Growth Groups will start the week of October 3rd. Each Group lasts between 6 - 10 weeks and then it's over. Sign-up's begin Sunday, September 12th.

I'm new! Where do I begin?
If you are new to church, new to Groups, or new to Jesus, we've made it easy for you. Simply look for the "Start Here" text to join a group that is designed for beginners. Still, you are welcome to sign up for any group that interests you.

How many Groups can I join?
Because of limited capacity, and to allow room for everyone, please sign up for no more than TWO Growth Groups.

What about childcare?
Unless otherwise noted, childcare is not provided at Growth Groups.
