KIDS

If your kids haven't joined us before, you can save some time by pre-registering here.

Our Programs

Nursery

In each nursery class, our goal is to create a peaceful atmosphere and care for your child’s physical needs. We also strive to help your child transition more easily into their preschool years.

Preschool

In each preschool class, we guide your child’s curiosity through Bible-based, interactive activities to help them discover who Jesus is. Also, one of our goals is to help your child transition more easily to their elementary years.

Elementary

In our elementary room, we seek to engage your child’s interest through high-energy services and small group interactions to promote a personal interest in God while helping your child transition more easily into their middle-school years (MSC).

First Time Guests

First time here? Once you arrive, and enter our building, come to our Next Steps Table and we will escort you to our check-in area.

Check In

Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.

Safety Teams

All Great Lakes Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own safety team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a text message paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.

Child Dedications

A Child Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents - those who would consider themselves followers of Jesus - and sometimes entire families, make a commitment before the Lord and their church family to submit a child to Godʼs will and to raise that child according to Godʼs ways.

We offer Child Dedications twice a year. Once in January and once in June. SIGN-UP for the next child dedication.

What to Expect

Our in-person programs capture kids' attention with fun activities and giveaways, but we know that “church” is for more than Jolly Rancher Candy® and foosball. We're committed to helping kids develop a relationship with Jesus and helping you connect what happens at weekly services with the rest of their lives.
